Keynote Speaker

As a keynote speaker, I empower people to transform their institutions into communities that cultivate belonging, creativity, and innovation.

Marilee Coles-Ritchie is an educator, researcher, author, and keynote speaker who helps institutions cultivate belonging that transforms their cultures from the inside out. With over 30 years of experience in education and organizational change, she brings a powerful blend of research-based insights and on-the-ground experience to her work with schools, universities, and community organizations. Her approach centers on creating environments where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to contribute and innovate. Through her consulting and speaking, Marilee guides leaders and their members in making practical shifts. These shifts invite co-creation of expansive plans that take root and flourish.

“Marilee is an exceptional speaker! As an educator and community advocate, Marilee was very thoughtful and intentional with her remarks to our 200+ college student leaders from across the State of Utah. Marilee took the time to understand her audience and the outcomes of our conference before speaking. Her remarks were relatable and thought provoking to the students (and staff). From journaling and pair sharing, to large group interaction, Marilee is dynamic, energetic, and engaging. On top of it all, Marilee is inclusive and welcoming, making a room of 200+ people feel like an intimate discussion.”
